Borobudur - Biggest Buddhist Temple in Java, Indonesia

This Buddhist temple has 1460 relief panels and 504 Buddha effigies in its complex. Borobudur is the biggest Buddhist temple in the ninth century measuring 123 x 123 meters. Millions of people are eager to visit this building as one of the World Wonder Heritages. It is not surprising since architecturally and functionally, as the place for Buddhists to say their prayer, Borobudur is attractive.
In Indonesian, ancient temples are known as candi thus "Borobudur Temple" is locally known as Candi Borobudur. The term candi is also used more loosely to describe any ancient structure, for example gates and bathing structures. The origins of the name Borobudur although the original names of most ancient Indonesian temples are no longer known. The name Borobudur was first written in Sir Thomas Raffles' book on Javan history. Raffles wrote about a monument called borobudur, but there are no older documents suggesting the same name.The only old Javanese manuscript that hints at the monument as a holy Buddhist sanctuary is Nagarakretagama, written by Mpu Prapanca in 1365.

Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park in Philippines

Tubbataha Reef is an atoll coral reef located in the Sulu Sea of the Philippines. It is a marine sanctuary protected as Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park. It is nominated at the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Placed in the province of Palawan, this attractive reef ecosystem is home to more than 400 fish species and 300 species of corals. Because of the rich marine life and diverse indicates of marine creatures, it is currently recognized as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the country. Some of the notable species of animals found in this place include the clownfish, tortoise and manta ray. It also features fine-looking coral walls, which play home to manta rays, barracudas and hammerhead sharks.

Lotus Temple in New Delhi

The city of Delhi was the capital of at least seven countries over the years as a symbol of unrest in the area showing one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Delhi is the second largest metropolis in India after Mumbai. In its framework is New Delhi – the capital of the country. New Delhi is a modern capital, which combines multiple hotels, tower-shaped buildings with a wealth of historical monuments. Moreover, it is an important industrial center. Much of the population works in the crowded Old City, the other – in new-projected Rural colonies. Extremely beautiful place, very rich in history and places worth to be seen.
The city is quite beautiful showing te power of the developing nation.

Great Wall of China

One of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Wall of China is a man-made structure that was constructed over two thousand years ago and took about 100 years to complete. The Great Wall of China, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. The vastness of this project brings to light the immense capabilities of man. Great Wall of China is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in northern China, built originally to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire against intrusions by various nomadic groups. Several walls have been built since the 5th century BC that are referred to collectively as the Great Wall, which has been rebuilt and maintained from the 5th century BC through the 16th century.

Mount Fuji in Japan

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft). Mount Fuji lies about 100 kilometres (60 miles) south-west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone is a well-known symbol of Japan and it is frequently depicted in art and photographs, as well as visited by sightseers and climbers. 

It is one of Japan's "Three Holy Mountains" along with Mount Tate and Mount Haku. Mount Fuji is an attractive volcanic cone and a frequent subject of Japanese art. Among the most renowned works are Hokusai's 36 Views of Mount Fuji and his One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji. Mount Fuji is a distinctive feature of the geography of Japan. It stands 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft) high and is located near the Pacific coast of central Honshu, just west of Tokyo.

Taj Mahal in India


          Taj Mahal in India is one of the wonders of the world and is one of the most beautiful mausoleums constructed by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, in memory of his favorite queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Located in Agra, white marble was used in the construction of this symbol of love, and the Taj Mahal is considered to be the pinnacle of Mughal architecture.emperor was grief-stricken when he lost his beloved third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Semi-precious stones were used for inlay ornamentation. It later became the mausoleum of Shah Jahan too. This is a huge tourist attraction with one to two million tourists visiting it every year.
